About the job

Your tasks as a security specialist in the office unit at the Swedish Tax Agency involve working together with colleagues in our physical security team to coordinate the work within physical security at our offices. In this role, you will plan, develop, and follow up on the physical protection of our offices. You will also drive development and improvement projects together with others.

You will have close contact with our security unit, colleagues at the offices, and suppliers. The position involves a lot of contact with different people both internally and externally. You need to be able to convey your message and information clearly and adapt your way of communicating knowledge to the recipient.

A large part of the work is administrative, such as writing procedures, classifying documents, and structuring documentation, which you are used to working with.

You belong to the office unit in the administrative department, where we have about 150 employees. The work is largely based on collaboration with our entire organization and external partners. All of Sweden is your work area, which means travel may include overnight stays. The place of employment is Sundbyberg.

You should also have:

• relevant post-secondary education focused on physical security or at least three years of current work experience in qualified work within physical security
• current work experience of working with the Theft Protection Association's standards and SiS standards for physical security
• good knowledge of burglary alarms/access control systems and access administration.

It is desirable that you have:

• relevant and current work experience from a government agency, large organization, or large company
• current work experience in developing procedures for physical protection
• current work experience in information management
• current knowledge of LOU and LUFS
• managed or participated in larger construction and facility projects

Good to know

The employment is permanent and may start with a six-month probationary period.

An employment with us may involve placement in a security class. A security review with a background check according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) may therefore be conducted before a decision on employment. For some of our tasks in security class, Swedish citizenship is required.
